When you find a gem in life its human nature to want to keep it just for yourself, but having had such a good experience I have to share it. We had a terrible noise coming from the engine of our 320d and had already had some previous work done elsewhere trying to rectify. The main dealer and other garages did not appear interested in diagnosis or investigative work as the noise could have been so many design related faults on that engine. The Team at Turner Automotive happily rose to the challenge sharing knowledge upfront of the common issues of this engine and having extensive experience including total engine rebuilds we knew we were in good hands. We were treated politely with regular updates of the issues found and agreed repairs. We were also very pleased to have other issues highlighted that could be addressed more cost effectively as work overlapped rather than being told after to keep an eye as most garages do. We also opted to have the engine walnut blasted whilst under repair to remove carbon build up. The car drives better than when we purchased used and is so much more responsive. I would happily say you will not receive close to this service from main dealers or other garages and have the assurance of a true expert team at work. Thank you again to all the team we will definitely be back again!

I was hugely impressed by Turner Automotive – their knowledge of BMWs and Minis is second to none (it helps that Barrie is a BMW Master Technician!) and they replaced the knock sensor on my Cooper S (a pretty big job) for less than half what BMW quoted me! Same job, same expertise, half the price, what’s not to like? I’m very happy indeed and will definitely be a long-term customer.

Went to Turner on a recommendation from a work colleague as they're not that close to us. So pleased we did, what a refreshing experience. Can't say enough good things about them - courteous, knowledgeable, amicable and excellent value for money. If you have a BMW don't think twice about visiting them. Despite being an hours drive away we will using them for both our BMW's in the future. If you aren't that near then drop the car off and spend a few hours shopping in Kingston.

Barrie at Turner Automotive has saved my bacon on several occasions when I have had issues with my previous BMW Z4 and my current 1 series coupe. My most recent episode was with my 1 Series which required a complete engine rebuild due to the timing chain snapping. My car broke down on the way to work one morning, and I had the car recovered and taken to Turner Automotive where I knew Barrie would provide a better service than BMW would. He had the engine stripped completely where he confirmed the timing chain had snapped, and showed me the other components of the engine that had also been damaged in the process. Luckily I wasn’t driving fast so the damage to the engine was repairable and did not require a complete new engine replacement! Over the next few days, Barrie rebuilt the engine so it was good as new – literally. I drove the car away knowing that it was 100% fixed to the highest of standards but at a far lesser cost than a main dealer would have charged me, and knew that I had received the most genuine, honest, trustworthy service of all. I would highly recommend Barrie with any repair for your BMW – no matter how big or small, you literally won’t get a better service!
